Trystr is built with safety at its core — not as an afterthought. Every feature we ship is designed to protect performers and clients alike.
We believe that everyone using Trystr — whether a performer or a client — deserves to feel safe. Unlike legacy platforms that treat safety as a premium add-on, we have built safety tools directly into the platform at no extra cost.
Our Trust & Safety team monitors the platform around the clock. We work with organisations including National Ugly Mugs and law enforcement when required to protect our community.
If you ever feel unsafe, please do not hesitate to use our reporting tools or contact emergency services directly. Your wellbeing is always the priority.
Tools that protect you — included with every account, at every tier.
Every performer goes through identity verification before appearing in search results. Verified profiles display a trust badge so clients can browse with confidence.
Performers can start a timed check-in before each booking. If they don’t check out within the expected window, our system automatically alerts their chosen emergency contact.
Every profile has a report button. Our Trust & Safety team reviews all reports promptly and takes action including warnings, suspensions, and permanent bans.
Block any user instantly. We also maintain a shared community blacklist so that dangerous individuals flagged by one performer are visible to all.
Two-way reviews, account age indicators, and verification badges help performers screen clients before accepting bookings.
All messages stay within the platform. No need to share personal phone numbers or email addresses with anyone you have not vetted.
Practical advice to keep yourself safe before, during, and after bookings.
Let a trusted friend or your emergency contact know when and where you are going before every booking. Use the in-app check-in timer to create a digital record.
For first-time meetings, consider a brief public meeting to verify the person matches their profile. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, you can cancel at any time.
Check a client’s profile, reviews, verification status, and account age. Verified clients with positive reviews and older accounts are generally lower risk.
Never share your real name, home address, or bank details outside the platform. Use the in-app messaging system for all communication.
If a client makes you uncomfortable at any point you have every right to end the interaction immediately. Your safety always comes first.
Use the report button on any profile to flag suspicious or inappropriate behaviour. Reports are reviewed within hours, not days.
How to be a respectful, trustworthy client on the platform.
Performers set their own terms and services. Always respect stated boundaries, agreed times, and cancellation policies.
Use the in-app messaging to discuss expectations before meeting. Clear communication leads to a better experience for everyone.
Completing account verification increases your trust level and makes performers more likely to accept your booking requests.
If you encounter fake profiles, scams, or any behaviour that violates our terms, report it immediately. We act on every report.
